This episode had only five signs to typeset, but we still managed to have four typesetters work on it. But it sure was worth it!
So here's this thing again. Have fun.
Time for more flag shenanigans.
And as promised, we have a faster Atelier release for you this week (this time with less trailing f's too). Enjoy!
Our assigned translator for Knights of Sidonia is on a trip and won't be back until late Monday. We have another translator who can fill in for him, but he won't be able to start until tomorrow (at approximately 9-10 AM UTC). Sorry for the inconvenience.
EDIT (2014-04-19): The release is currently stalled at typesetting. The main typesetter is sick and hasn't been online much. Hopefully we'll be done in the next 24 hours.
EDIT (2014-04-23): The episode should be out today. We should be back to timely releases from episode 3 onward.
Also, stop being dumb. Just because there's a delay doesn't mean it has been dropped. If we drop something, we'll say so.
This show is pretty ridiculous.
Ridiculous fun, that is. Enjoy!
And here's our final pickup for the season. We debated about whether to do this or not for quite a while since our schedule was already pretty busy, but ended up doing it because of Hidaka Rina (who Kusion wants to desperately marry).
This shows comes with two subtitle tracks, eng as the default and enm with Japanese honorifics as secondary. We aim to release this on Tuesdays from now on, using TV Aichi as our video source and CR subs as our base. Enjoy!
And as promised, we've got a much faster release this week! Also, a small TL note for this week's episode. We also put some extra effort into making Tokyo MX look a bit more presentable this week. Enjoy!
So here's one more thing we ended up doing on a whim - the anime adaption of Atelier Escha & Logy - Alchemists of the Dusk Sky.
A word about honorifics: We generally include a honorifics track if the show takes place in Japan, with largely Japanese cast or if the show in general has a dominantly Japanese setting. As such, since this show takes place in a quite distinctly non-Japanese fantasy setting, there is no alternative honorifics track to be found here.
Also, since we picked this up after the airing, we could only source a Tokyo MX cap - next week on we should be able to use the somewhat higher quality TV Aichi broadcast instead. The next episode should also come out considerably faster. Enjoy!
And here's our third pick for the season, the 3DCG adaption of Tsutomu Nihei's Knights of Sidonia! And instead of running for the hills due to the word "3DCG", throw away your prejudices and give it a chance - who knows, you might be surprised.
This release comes with two subtitle tracks, the default eng and the alternative enm with Japanese honorifics. Enjoy!
